FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the schedule for distance learning?

The Indiana Bible College Distance Learning Program continues throughout the year, breaking only for holidays. A prospective student may enroll in the Distance Learning program at any time during the year. All courses are self-directed and begin upon payment. Each course has a sixteen-week limit. If a course is not completed by the end of the 16 week period, the student may apply for a four-week extension.

Can I transfer credits from another school?

The Office of Distance Learning at Indiana Bible College will accept credits from UPCI-endorsed Bible colleges, as well as credits from many other accredited institutions. Transcripts are evaluated on an individual basis and Indiana Bible College officials will determine which courses best coincide with or supplement the Indiana Bible College curriculum. Only credits that carry a grade of “C” or higher can be transferred. We reserve the right of refusal to transfer credits for any course that we feel is non-applicable to the student’s course of study.

Students must earn a minimum of 32 credits from Indiana Bible College to receive any degree.

Are scholarships available for the distance learning program?

Indiana Bible College does not currently offer scholarships for the distance learning program. Other students needing financial assistance have taken advantage of the following:

  1. UPCI District Scholarships: Within your district (state) there may be scholarships available. Check with your state Youth Division and Ladies’ Ministries leaders as they often offer funds for students choosing a UPCI Bible college.

  2. Local Churches: Local churches often assist their deserving young people as they attend Bible college. Discuss your finances with your pastor and/or youth pastor.

  3. Payment Plans: Indiana Bible College offers a deferred payment program and an advanced payment program. See Tuition & Fees on the Home Page.

How do Withdrawals & Refunds work?
